Bully has personally taught thousands of students surfing on Maui. Logging over 40,000 hours of coaching throughout the Hawaiian Islands and Nicaragua, customizing lessons to each students' needs, skill level, and personal goals. He teaches beginners, intermediate, and pro level surfers. Coaching is his passion and his life's purpose.
Bully has students return year after year from all over the world for lessons with him when they visit Hawaii. The longest coaching relationship has been 17 years long! His vast array of experience has been with students age 2 year to 82 years old, including a mom's surf club, and an after school program for local keiki (kids).
]Bully does volunteer work with under privileged kids and homeless shelters. He is also passionate about charity work - coaching kids at contest level who have the desire to go pro, but who wouldn't otherwise have access to coaching.
Bully has much to offer aspiring students. His approach to teaching is extremely positive, patient, and adaptable towards the needs of each individual. The goals and concerns of our students, their safety, fun and learning are primary priorities!
